In a week both JP Open Studios and my kid's 6th birthday party will be over and done. We goofed and double booked the party and the fair but I believe with some rearranging it will be okay. I have a friend babysitting my table and hope to get a ride from the party back to JP before things get busy. Because of all that is going on that weekend I decided to buy a cake rather than make a cake. I'm feeling slightly bummed about it but she already got her favorite strawberry cake on her actual birthday a couple of weeks ago. Outsourcing a bit of the work is probably the best decision.
One area that I have not outsourced work is preparing for JP Open Studios. I have dozens of new pieces in a variety of sizes. Some ready to hang on wood panels, some framed and many pieces individually packaged in poly sleeves and ready to take home. I've done all this work myself when I have a few moments in the day or in the evening. I purchased a nice wire bin from the container to house the prints. Please come down this weekend and thumb through them!
This month is flying by!
